Greyhound Canada
and the Provinces of Manitoba and Ontario have announced that they plan to continue talks
to maintain services within the provinces. Until such time
as all issues have been resolved, we recommend that you contact Greyhound
directly, or your local Greyhound Agent to confirm arrival and departure
times for your location as well as fares and upcoming schedule changes.
Although service
along Highway 17
in Northwestern Ontario and into Manitoba will continue for the time being, we at Caribou Coach
will continue to monitor the situation and any further developments. Passenger
services between Fort Frances, Atikokan and Thunder Bay, as well as between
Thunder Bay, Nipigon, Geraldton, Longlac and Hearst with Caribou Coach will
continue without change at this time.
Caribou Coach will
continue circulating its petition to maintain scheduled bus service between
Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, and Sault Ste Marie for the time being..
